Description
As part of our Art and Design Technology curriculum, Year 3 will visit the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture (MODA) at Middlesex University. We will be printing our own designs based on the art and designs of Ancient Greece, as well as looking at how design has affected homes since the 1920’s. The dates for the classes are as follows:
Tuesday 2nd February 2010 - 3OH Wednesday 3rd February 2010 - 3SP
Thursday 4th February 2010 - 3RF Tuesday 9th February 2010 - 3AS
We will leave school at 9.30am and will return by 3.00pm so the children will require a packed lunch (no glass bottles please). School uniform should be worn and the children will be required to take their art shirts with them as they be working with printing inks for most of the day.
A voluntary contribution of £5.00 per child will be required to cover the cost of the trip. I should point out that we need full financial support in order for the trip to go ahead. In order for your child to participate payment must be made online by using either a credit or debit card (http://www.parentpay.co.uk) or by cash through a PayPoint store. Your ParentPay account needs to be activitated before any payment can be made.
If parents are able to accompany the children on this trip please let the teacher know. Please note that parents who offer help will be added to a list. It is the decision of the senior teacher in each year who is invited to assist. In order to fulfill safeguarding procedures, any parent helping in school will be required to attend training with the School’s Designated Child Protection Officer.
