The Raglan Junior School Uniform

The School uniform plays a valuable part in contributing to the ethos of our School whilst setting and reflecting an appropriate and formal tone.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families strongly encourages schools to have a uniform as it instils pride; supports positive behaviour and discipline; encourages identity with, and support for the school’s ethos; ensures pupils of all races and backgrounds feel welcome; protects children from social pressures to dress in a particular way and nurtures cohesion whilst promoting good relations between different groups of pupils.

Our uniform is a visual reminder of personal discipline, independence, good order and the School’s high standards and expectations. Our Staff are also expected to abide by a strict and professional dress code. Above all, we believe that our uniform supports effective teaching and learning. Education is a formal experience and our uniform reflects that.

Each item of the Raglan Junior School uniform is available from our page on the Your School Uniform website.

Responsibility and Lost Property
