Wear a Red Top on Friday for £1 to support the work of the Red Cross in Haiti
Posted ~ Tuesday 19 January 2010
Pupils were led in a very moving assembly by Miss Abrahams on the Haiti earthquake and the attempts to try to help the people of that country by nations all over the world. We reminded ourselves of our school motto: Sic Vos Non Vobis, thus do we, not for ourselves and how we are encouraged always to do things for others. With this in mind, children are embarking on a fundraising activity to support the Red Cross on Friday of this week.
A donation of at least £1 can be made and children can wear a red top, jumper, t-shirt of scarf instead of the usual blue jumpers or cardigans. The rest of the school uniform will be worn as normal.
Thanks go to Miss Abrahams. A copy of the presentation can be downloaded is here.
Some people may wish to donate additionally and directly and may do so here.
